Introduction : Une position géographique stratégique mais sous-exploitée

La République Démocratique du Congo (RDC), avec une superficie de 2 345 410 km², est le deuxième plus grand pays d’Afrique. Ce corridor relie la ville minière de Kolwezi au port de Lobito, en Angola, via la ligne ferroviaire de Benguela. Bien que stratégique pour l’exportation des minerais du Katanga, son potentiel reste limité par des infrastructures vieillissantes et peu exploitées.

Mauvais état des rails et insuffisance des trains de fret.
